Introducing LocalPay – built on @Arc Crypto payments today: – Fast – Low fees – Borderless – Available 24/7 👉 The problem today is no longer whether a chain is fast or cheap, but whether everyday users would actually use it. 💎 LocalPay is a project I built to solve two problems: 1️⃣ People do not spend in USDC or tokens. They spend in the currencies they use every day: – Vietnamese people use VND – Koreans use KRW – Singaporeans use SGD 👉 LocalPay is a simple but practical payment app where users only interact with their local currency – both sender and receiver. No manual conversion or calculations needed. 2️⃣ People also definitely do not want to: – Create wallets – Store seed phrases – Bridge assets – Choose chains – Convert between tokens and fiat 👉 LocalPay hides wallets, blockchain, and USDC completely in the background. In the end, users only need to create an account with Email and send/receive money in their local currency. Everything else is handled by Arc and USDC.
